Description
Prepare surfaces for painting using sandpaper, wire brushes, steel wool, cleaning solvents and/or bonding agents.
Take appropriate measures to prepare and/or protect assigned area prior to painting.
Select premixed paints or mix paint to desired color tones.
Apply paint, varnish, stain and sealer using paintbrushes, rollers, trimmers and spray guns.
Clean area and equipment upon completion of painting.
Hang and repair wall coverings according to instructions.
Maintain required records and logs.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a secure, safe, clean and orderly manner.
Experience / Qualifications
