Responsibilities

  • Plan day-to-day production activities to meet safety, quality and order expectations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production with department personnel, analyze problems and implement measures to resolve issues.
  • Provide constant coaching and training in the production area and maintain a regular floor presence throughout the production shift.
  • Monitor organization of production floor and storage areas.
  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicate with Quality, Shipping/Receiving, and Maintenance to effectively execute production activities.
  • Supervise and motivate the production team, ensure all policies, procedures and goals are being administered fairly and equitably.
  • Work with appropriate departments for improvement of policies and procedures.
  • Ensure GMP and SQF standards are maintained on the production floor, and day-to-day records and logs are completed to always be in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Coordinate with the appropriate departments for any issues that arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • The ability to multi-task in multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
  • Must be proficient in Windows Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with above average Excel skills.
  • Ability to think and work independently and possess strong creativity and problem-solving skills.

Summary of the Position:
