Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Utility Operator to support finishing production on the shop floor in the United States. The role emphasizes safe, efficient operations and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include following established methods, cleaning and deburring parts, mounting parts, operating drill presses and sanders, and verifying measurements against specifications. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to six months related experience or a mix of education and experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing production on the floor following established methods.
• Clean parts using techniques to meet customer specs.
• Deburr, polish and identify parts.
• Mount parts on revolving spindle or chuck and use tools against the work piece.
• Use drill presses, notchers and sanders.
• Read blueprints and meet quality specifications.
• Package product and assemble kits for shipping.
• Maintain input and production reports and monitor quality.
