Job summary

Mativ Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Utility Operator in Alpharetta, GA to ensure the finishing production runs smoothly. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient operations on the production floor.

Responsibilities include cleaning parts, deburring, polishing, mounting on spindles, using drills and sanders, and maintaining production reports. Basic blueprints reading and measuring are expected daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Up to six months related experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow company methods, policies, rules, and procedures to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Clean parts using techniques to meet customer specifications.
• Deburr, polish and identify parts.
• Mount parts on revolving spindle or chuck and handle tools against work piece.
• Operate drill presses, notchers and sanders.
• Clean interior surfaces of holes in tubes.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain input and production reports.
• Check quality at start of shift and maintain quality throughout the shift.
• Use measuring tools to meet specifications.
• Read basic blueprints.
• Package product and assemble kits for shipping.
