Federal Signal Corporation's TBEI Lake Crystal facility is seeking Finish Painters to apply coatings on truck bodies and parts. The role emphasizes precision, safety, and lean manufacturing practices.

Starting pay up to $25 per hour with a $2500 retention bonus, full-time hours, and a team-focused environment. Candidates should have automotive painting experience and be able to lift up to 50 lb and work in varied positions.

Qualifications

• Two years' education or equivalent knowledge in automotive painting.
• Ability to manually move product and material up to 50 pounds; up to 100 pounds with overhead hoists.
• Ability to paint in various positions including kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, turning and climbing; on concrete, ladders and inside dump bodies.
• Ability to determine and make painting equipment adjustments, read complicated instructions, use measuring devices and perform basic data entry.
• Ability to learn operations of multiple machines/jigs.
• Ability to pass a pulmonary exam and medical questionnaire to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate painting equipment to paint truck bodies or parts.
• Assist with continuous process improvement and lean initiatives by following process flow and maintaining a clean work environment.
