Job summary

Nidec in Mankato, MN is seeking a Finish Painter for the 4th shift. You will mix, apply, and finish paint on manufactured products, ensuring proper color, thickness, and surface quality in an on-site factory environment.

The role requires 6,000 hours of painting experience, a high school or vocational education, and US citizenship. The position offers bi-weekly pay with a starting hourly rate between $24.24 and $27.73 plus a 10% shift differential and a possible $2.00 technical differential

Qualifications

• Six thousand hours of painting experience required.
• Vocational or high school education plus on-the-job training.
• Must be a sole US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Mix paint materials to proper color and consistency.
• Prepare surfaces and apply paint/finishes with brush or power equipment.
• Label and store paints and chemicals.
• Inspect finished surfaces for appearance and thickness.
• Perform TPM tasks with accuracy and minimal supervision.
