Job summary

Partners In Recovery LLC in Jasper, IN is seeking a Finish Lead person to support the Finish department operations and assist the Finish Supervisor. The role emphasizes leading daily spray booth setup and maintenance, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production while developing team members across shifts.

You will coach, train, and support a spray painting team, monitor adherence to safety standards, and ensure finishes meet quality and color requirements.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and safety.
• Experience with finish spraying processes preferred.
• Ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and listening skills.
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in daily setup of spray booth.
• Oversee and assist with daily cleanup of spray booths.
• Replace Finish material when needed.
• Perform and document all checks in spray booths.
• Assist Finish Supervisor in daily production activities.
• Enter all rework and rejects into the system.
• Cross-train on all positions to fill in when needed.
• Enter employee hours and transfer hours at shift end or in the supervisor absence.
• Assist Finish Supervisor with questions from production personnel.
• Be knowledgeable with all Finish colors.
• Understand production schedules and the order products should be produced.
• Coach, support, and train team members.
• Ensure team members meet safety and productivity requirements.
• Meet quality and delivery expectations by achieving goals.
• Collaborate with support functions to solve problems; act as first line responsible for problem-solving linked to safety, quality, and efficiency
• Fill in for Finish Supervisor when necessary.
