Qualifications

• Grinding skills and working knowledge of grinding tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to follow instructions, read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver objects weighing 30–50 pounds and up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow specifications on Tech Cards.
• Ability to work in conditions with noise, dust, temperature extremes and other elements.
• May handle hazardous waste.

Responsabilités

• Finish grinding and blending gating and defect areas to meet tolerances with minimum metal removal.
• Safety: follow plant rules and operate equipment safely; identify safety problems.
• Perform minor maintenance and change belts on equipment.
• Complete logs and records.
• Perform other tasks as directed.
• May provide training or work direction to B-level grinders.
