Overview

Archer Western, a member of The Walsh Group, is seeking a Grader Operator for the I-95 to I-295 North Interchange in Jacksonville, FL.

The primary responsibility is to operate a grader to construct, maintain, or repair highways, heavy civil, or building structures. Equipment operators may assist in other tasks around the job site as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate a grader to complete tasks such as grading and transporting materials like dirt, rocks, and aggregate.
• Knowledge of operating procedures for loading and unloading materials.
• Perform maintenance, safety checks, and complete documentation as needed.
• Assist with other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Compliance with safety policies, effective communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
