OVERVIEW

Archer Western, a member of The Walsh Group, is currently seeking a Dozer Operator for the I-95 to I-295 North Interchange in Jacksonville, FL.

The Dozer Operator's primary function is to operate a dozer at the construction site to build, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building structures. Equipment operators are also expected to assist with other duties around the jobsite as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a dozer to perform tasks such as land clearing, backfilling, and transporting materials like dirt, rocks, and other aggregates.
• Follow operating procedures for loading and unloading materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including oiling, greasing, and safety checks; complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Compliance with all safety policies and procedures; effective communication with co-workers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
