Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks an Experienced Finish Grade Excavator Operator to join our road construction team. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of track hoes to support grading and site development.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of finish grade experience, reads grade references, can use GPS for grading, and will perform routine equipment maintenance while working overtime as needed. Strong safety focus required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience operating a track hoe as a finish grade operator.
• Must be able to read commercial grade.
• Ability to read and understand grade and maintain grade.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Track Hoe to complete all required operation tasks.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill and proficiency and in challenging and unique terrain environments.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Perform daily pre-and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Effective communication skills applicable to position.
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
