Job summary

Tiara Yachts is seeking a Finishing Repair Associate for the 1st shift to restore perfection down to the detail. You will inspect, repair, and finish surfaces on yacht components, using gelcoat, putty, paint, and finishing tools to achieve flawless results.

Key requirements include sharp attention to detail, experience with finishing tools, and the ability to work around chemicals. This position offers on‑the‑job training, generous PTO, benefits, and profit sharing in a marine manufacturing

Qualifications

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high personal standard for quality.
• Experience with finishing tools such as sanders, buffers, or sprayers.
• Ability to recognize and repair surface defects with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with working around chemicals, dust, and paint or gelcoat materials.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, surfaces, and assemblies for finish flaws or damage.
• Perform surface repairs using sanding, filling, and buffing techniques.
• Work with gelcoat, putty, paint, and other finishing materials.
• Use buffers, sanders, and spray guns to correct imperfections.
• Blend repairs into surrounding areas for seamless visual quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety standards.
