The Finger Lakes Land Trust (FLLT) was founded in 1989 to protect forests, farmlands, gorges, and shorelines in the Finger Lakes region of New York. They have saved over 35,000 acres by creating public nature preserves and helping landowners to conserve their beloved properties. The organization focuses on protecting critical habitat for fish and wildlife, conserving lands that are important for water quality, connecting existing conservation lands, and keeping prime farmland in agriculture. The FLLT has 23 dedicated staff members and more than 200 active volunteers.
"The Finger Lakes Land Trust has grown steadily and successfully for the last 20 years. We are now ready to take it to the next level. To get there, we need an experienced Director of Advancement who has a passion for conserving our lands and waters. We are looking for someone who can both lead and support our development & communications team members while working in partnership with me to engage our board and other volunteers to leverage the resources needed to achieve our goals." — Andrew Zepp, President
