Job summary

Fred Meyer Jewelers is seeking a sales professional to provide a welcoming jewelry shopping experience, meet personal sales targets, and build lasting relationships with customers. You will learn product knowledge and assist customers in selecting pieces while delivering outstanding service.

You will operate the POS, promote events, keep displays polished, and participate in store upkeep and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Sales, retail or jewelry experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ and able to pass a drug test.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy/attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver excellent customer service.
• Achieve personal sales targets and promote add-on services.
• Promote Diamond Parties and special events with every customer.
• Collaborate with teammates to reach store goals and maintain positive environment.
• Foster clienteling to build long-term customer relationships.
• Provide product knowledge and explain features/benefits to customers.
• Advise on quality, cuts, value, and assist in selecting mounts/settings.
• Attend monthly meetings and operate POS to process payments.
• Inspect and clean jewelry, provide estimates for repairs.
• Perform watch battery replacements and band adjustments.
• Follow receiving and processing procedures and display merchandise per plan.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and basic housekeeping.
• Maintain store safety and security; participate in inventory and counts.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
