Job summary

The Tea Cart in Berryville, VA is seeking friendly servers to join our traditional British tearoom. Duties include greeting guests, bearing and clearing tables, and presenting teas with knowledge of the menu. Training is provided; prior server experience is a plus but not required.

Shifts are 5–25 hours weekly, including weekends. The role supports private events and monthly teas, with a focus on warm, attentive service and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Serving experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills required.

• Ability to carry tea pots and handle fine china.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests of all ages.
• Set up and clean dining room and kitchen.
• Know the menu and tea selections.
• Handle food safely and serve during regular service and events.
• Bus tables and maintain clean work areas.
• Wash and polish silverware, dishes, and glasses.
• Prepare service tickets.
• Assist with merchandise and cashier duties.
• Restock inventory as needed.
