Job summary

Mohonk Mountain House seeks a Server for full-time, year-round dining service across breakfast, lunch, dinner and events. You will work with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth operation, describe menu items, recommend wine pairings, and handle special requests with professionalism.

Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards are essential as you assist with service progression and safety, maintaining a welcoming guest experience at Mohonk Mountain House.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of hospitality and experience in food and beverage service.
• TIPS or other Alcohol Awareness Training preferred.
• Servsafe or other safe food handling certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service to dining guests for breakfast, lunch, dinner and functions.
• Describe menu items and answer questions with accuracy and friendly attitude.
• Open wine and champagne at table side and present to guests.
• Take and process guest orders via POS with special requests.
• Maintain clean and well-set tables and uphold service standards.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events and ensure safety practices.
