Job summary

The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, NC is seeking a Server for the PM/Evening shift to provide polite, professional service across the restaurant, bar, and room service as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Serving experience required; hospitality experience preferred.
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Serving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food preparation: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, professional, fast, and courteous service.
• Your section is the entire restaurant—the bar, the phone, the food line, etc.
• Take orders, pour water and wine, and ensure accuracy with allergies or special needs.
• Deliver food from kitchen, hot and cold; buss and reset tables; run food as needed.
• Coordinate with servers to ensure a smooth dining experience and hospitality.
