Job summary

Beacon Grand in San Francisco is seeking a Post Room Server to deliver elevated, anticipatory service in a luxury, fine-dining setting, guiding guests from arrival through departure, with gracious hospitality, expert menu and beverage presentation, and precise order execution.

The role requires at least 2 years in a fine-dining restaurant or luxury hotel, strong wine knowledge, and excellent communication, with the ability to manage multiple tables with poise while upholding Beacon Grand

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine-dining restaurant or luxury hotel dining room.
• Strong wine, spirits, and cocktail knowledge.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems and multi-table pacing.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Provide polished, intuitive, and personalized service reflecting Beacon Grand standards.
• Greet, seat guests when appropriate, build rapport, and demonstrate product knowledge.
• Present menus, describe features, and recommend wine and beverage pairings.
• Enter and manage orders in POS; coordinate with culinary and bar teams for timing.
• Perform tableside service as required; maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients.
• Monitor guest experience and handle concerns with discretion and professionalism.
• Open, shift, and close duties including station setup and cleanliness.
