Job summary

The Ranch at Rock Creek in Montana is seeking a fine dining server to deliver exceptional guest experiences with knowledgeable wine and beverage service. The role requires engaging guests, anticipating needs, and presenting the story behind the food during each visit.

You will maintain expert knowledge of menus, be vigilant about service steps, and collaborate closely with kitchen and events teams to ensure a flawless dining experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a fine dining server.
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits and beers.
• Able to communicate with guests, management and co-workers.
• Food Handlers Certification.
• High school graduate or equivalent and some college.
• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
• Certification in alcohol awareness program.

Responsibilities

• Provide a personalized experience for guests and greet them by name.
• Utilize proper steps of service throughout dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of table numbers, station numbers, hours of operation and setup.
• Know menu/beverage items, preparation methods, and presentation standards.
• Follow state liquor regulations and avoid service to minors or intoxicated persons.
• Operate POS and manual systems smoothly.
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Monitor specials and 86’d items during shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned station.
• Communicate with Kitchen and Events teams.
• Work as part of a team to ensure a successful service.
