Job summary

Restaurant K is seeking a distinguished Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining environment in Dallas. You will engage guests with menu knowledge, wine and beverage familiarity, and a warm, professional demeanor, while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

The role emphasizes relationship building, seamless order accuracy, and collaboration with the front-of-house team to exceed guest expectations and drive repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Possess a current Food Handler’s and TABC certification before starting work.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale casual environment.

Responsibilities

• Embrace our mission and guide guests through their dining experience, focusing on building a relationship with the guests.
• Possess knowledge to answer questions regarding our menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverages.
• Maintain a high level of hospitality and professionalism with each team member and guest.
• Enter all orders and transactions in our point-of-sale system.
• Ensure policy is followed regarding drinking age regulations; monitor guests for intoxication.
• Partner with staff to serve food and beverages that exceed guests’ expectations.
• Provide attentive service, monitoring and observing guests’ dining experience; aim to encourage return visits.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation as directed by management.
• Prepare final bill, present check, accept payment, and process credit card charges.
• Address disputes and guest service issues promptly while maintaining outstanding service.
• Be passionate about ensuring a clean, sanitized, and safe restaurant for guests.
• Perform side work at start and end of each shift; follow safety and sanitation policies.
