Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a prep cook in a full service, upscale or casual dining restaurant.
• Experience with fresh products preferred.
• Position requires nights, weekends and holidays availability.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, vendors and guests.
• Ability to understand communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work on time and stays on prep station as scheduled; maintains clean uniform and hygiene.
• Preps food items, equipment, wares and supplies for station operation per prep lists.
• Assists other kitchen personnel with preparation and side work per RCSH standards.
• Preps all food to company specifications; ensures proper plate presentation and quality.
• Maintains highest sanitation and food safety standards in work area.
• Adheres to safety guidelines; reports unsafe conditions or injuries to Sous Chef/Chef.
• Supports back-of-house staff to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Completes station closing duties and assists with kitchen cleanup.
• Must checkout with the MOD before leaving.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
