Job summary

Experience Senior Living Team is seeking an Experienced Line Cook to join a dedicated culinary team in a senior living community. The role supports residents by delivering high-quality meals, following established recipes, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with culinary leadership, preparing meals, and assisting with special events, while accommodating residents’ dining preferences and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years cooking experience in hospitality or healthcare.
• Food handlers permit as required by state law.
• Able to read and follow recipes and production guides, cleaning schedules, and logs.
• Able to engage residents and build positive relationships.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Commitment to cleanliness and safety in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level culinary service and promote a fine dining experience.
• Collaborate with Director of Culinary Services and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen, food storage, and preparation areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Open and/or close the kitchen.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Ensure all food is received, stored, and prepared to company standards.
• Estimate daily or weekly food and supply needs.
