Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Line Cook for Shaughnessy’s Pub at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. You will lead kitchen work alongside the Sous Chef and Executive Sous Chef, focusing on high-quality ingredients and consistent execution.

The role requires 2 years of fine dining experience and basic knife skills, with flexible weekend availability. Crescent offers competitive wages, strong benefits, and hotel discounts across North America.

Qualifications

• 2 years: Fine dining experience (required)
• Knife & light butchery skills preferred
• Flexible availability, including weekends

Responsibilities

• Inspects, selects and uses food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items
• Ensure food to order items for customers/guests are in a timely and consistent manner
• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist. Date all food containers and rotate
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
