Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group in Syracuse is seeking a Cook 1 for the 11 Waters restaurant to lead kitchen operations alongside the Sous Chef and Executive Sous Chef. This role supports high-quality dining and adheres to recipe, portion, and presentation standards to ensure a superior guest experience.

Qualifications

• Fine dining experience required.
• Must have at least 2 years in a fine dining setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, selects and uses food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items
• Ensure food to order items for customers/guests are in a timely and consistent manner
• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards, presentation standards and food preparation checklist. Date all food containers and rotate.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
