The Warbler Hotel is seeking a Food Runner to bring kitchen prep to the guest experience with precision and pride. You will verify dish accuracy, seat placement, temperature, and garnish integrity, acting as the final quality check between pass and guest in a luxury dining setting.

Work includes coordinating with servers and expediters to ensure course timing is on track, while maintaining a poised, instrument-like service style and a focus on guest privacy and smooth table transitions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of restaurant, banquet, catering, or fast-paced hospitality experience.
• Ability to learn detailed menus, handle hot plates safely, and retain seat-number information.
• Strong communication and teamwork under time-sensitive conditions.

Responsibilities

• Attend lineups and tastings to learn current dishes and tolerances.
• Read tickets and verify table, course sequence, and allergy markers before leaving the pass.
• Inspect plates for presentation, temperature, garnish, and completeness; return items that don’t meet standard.
• Deliver food using the seat-number system and service sequence; avoid crossing guests.
