Job summary

The Warbler Hotel is seeking a Food Runner for our fine-dining Spanish restaurant. You will carry plates from the expo to guests, ensuring correct temperature, garnish, and timing, while coordinating with servers and expediters to deliver full tables together.

The role demands attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to learn detailed menus quickly. Prior restaurant experience is preferred; training covers safety, room for growth, and maintaining the polished service standard

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Ability to learn detailed menus and memorize seat mappings.
• Strong communication and teamwork under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Read tickets and confirm table, course sequence, and allergy markers before serving.
• Inspect plates for presentation, temperature, garnish, and completeness.
• Deliver food using seat-number system and maintain appropriate service pace.
• Coordinate with servers and expo staff to ensure timely, multi-course delivery.
• Assist with café and pool-bar runs during peak periods.
