Job summary

Toca Madera is seeking Food Runners to help move dishes between the kitchen and dining area at our Houston restaurant. You will ensure orders are fulfilled correctly, communicate clearly with the team, and assist guests in a timely, courteous manner.

Role requires at least 6 months of fine dining experience, weekend/holiday availability, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of similar experience in a fine dining restaurant or full-service environment.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for the duration of shifts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team; follow verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hot food to guests, identifying each item and ensuring the guests order has been fulfilled properly.
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and client.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety guidelines.
• Proactive and anticipate the needs of coworkers around them that may need.
