Toca Madera is seeking a dedicated Food Runner in Houston to move dishes from kitchen to tables, ensuring orders are accurate and guests receive attentive, timely service in a fine-dining atmosphere.

You will work with kitchen and front-of-house teams, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and anticipate guest needs while adhering to health guidelines. Requires 6 months+ experience, English communication, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs; weekend/holiday shifts available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of similar experience in a fine dining restaurant or similar full-service environment.
• Available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for the duration of shifts.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to work in a team, assist with guests’ concerns, and to receive and follow verbal instructions provided in English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hot food to guests, identifying each item and ensuring the guests order has been fulfilled properly
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest and client
