Job summary

Bartolotta Restaurants in Milwaukee seeks a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fine-dining setting.

You will lead servers and hosts, coordinate with the GM and AGM, train staff, manage scheduling, inventory, and safety, and drive service standards across the dining room. Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years supervisory restaurant experience, knowledge of wine service, ServSafe, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; hospitality degree preferred.
• 2–5 years progressive restaurant experience with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• ServSafe Food Handler or Manager certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
• Bartending license (or ability to obtain provisional license within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage service flow in a fine-dining environment.
• Schedule FOH staff, conduct pre-shift meetings, and train staff on service techniques.
• Oversee dining room operations and ensure high service standards.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain FOH cleanliness and manage inventory of service ware.
• Ensure safety regulations and food handling best practices.
