Job summary

Restaurant K in Dallas, TX is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our kitchen team and maintain high cleanliness standards. You will operate dishwashing equipment, hand-wash delicate items, and keep the area organized while collaborating closely with the Executive and Sous Chefs.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a Food Handler’s certification, and share a passion for hospitality and cultural experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Possess a current Food Handler’s certification before starting work.
• Experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is a plus.
• Experience cleaning a commercial kitchen is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Hand wash delicate items or those that cannot be cleaned in the dishwasher.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area.
• Empty trash bins regularly and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchenware in their designated storage areas.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures, utilizing necessary protective gear.
• Any identified safety hazards or equipment malfunctions should be promptly reported to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards, including compliance with local health regulations.
• Foster a guest-focused environment, delivering a consistently outstanding hospitality experience.
