Job summary

Sushi Rosé in Winston-Salem launched in May 2024 and is expanding to Charlotte, NC, seeking a full-time Dishwasher to maintain a clean, organized dish area and support the kitchen team in our modern fine dining restaurant.

You will wash, sanitize, and store dishes, pots, pans, and utensils, follow health and safety guidelines, and collaborate with Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in communicating in English and Spanish.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting 40–50 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Basic understanding of food safety practices.
• Able to follow instructions and take directions.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area.
• Ensure that all items are cleaned according to health and safety standards.
• Properly sort and store clean dishes and utensils.
• Assist in the removal of trash and recycling as needed.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Supervisor.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Help with other kitchen duties as assigned by the Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager.
