Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Winston-Salem is seeking a hands-on team member to keep dishes, glassware, and kitchen areas clean while supporting Cooks, Bussers, Bartenders, and Servers.

You will follow instructions, stay flexible with evenings, weekends and holidays, and help maintain a safe, welcoming service environment for guests and coworkers alike. Prior kitchen experience and a Food Handler Certification are preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen or dishwashing experience is preferred.
• Food Handler Certification when applicable.
• Dedicated and hardworking.
• Able to follow verbal instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate all dishwashing and kitchen equipment safely.
• Wash dishes, glassware, equipment, and silverware by hand when necessary.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, dry, and debris-free.
• Restock supplies and stock deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
• Remove all trash and debris from restaurant on a routine basis.
• Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks.
• You may need to take on responsibilities outside of this job description at times.
