Job summary

The Oak Room in Washington, DC, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our new Georgetown concept. You will ensure dishes, utensils, glassware, and pots are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards, supporting a fine dining service with teamwork and positive energy.

Ideal candidates have some experience, good communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen. This hourly role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load, operate, and unload the dish machine according to proper procedures.
• Monitor water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycles.
• Follow sanitation guidelines set forth by the Health Department.
• Keep the dish room clean and organized.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep and restocking as needed.
• Maintain temperature logs and restock tools for the next shift.
• Support other duties assigned by management.
