The role requires 2+ years in fine dining, brick oven experience, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Overtime is eligible in this full-time, non-exempt environment.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of experience in a fine dining kitchen preferred.
• Experience with brick ovens is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen tools, and food safety.
• Ability to follow recipes with consistency and precision.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and cook menu items according to the restaurant's recipes, quality standards, and plating guidelines.
• Work a designated station (e.g., grill, sauté, garde manger, pizza oven, pastry) with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure ingredients and mise en place are fresh, properly stored, and prepped ahead of service.
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in all kitchen areas.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen team to ensure timely and consistent food delivery during service.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Monitor food inventory and communicate low stock or quality concerns to the Sous Chef or Chef.
• Uphold the restaurant's standards for professionalism, appearance, and teamwork.
