Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Northeast Florida is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our award-winning team. You will prepare all foods according to standard recipes, ensuring quality and consistency across dishes.

Qualifications

• 3 years Ala Carte Service/Fine Dining knowledge.
• Proficient in hot cooking techniques (broiling, frying, sautéing, grilling).
• Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles).
• Basic math skills for recipe scaling and requisitions.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Good manual dexterity for using kitchen tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in extreme temperatures.
• Strong organizational and people skills; maintain grooming standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods according to standard recipes to ensure consistency.
• Select and use high-quality ingredients for menu items.
• Maintain proper storage and portion controls, especially for high-cost meats.
• Keep refrigeration and work areas clean to health standards.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is clean and functional.
• Read recipes, perform requisitions, and use math for item preparation.
