Job summary

The Allison Inn & Spa in Newberg, OR, is looking for a part-time JORY Busser/Server Assistant to support restaurant servers in a fast-paced, fine-dining setting. You will help deliver hospitality, clear and reset tables, and assist with food service to guests.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service, strong English communication, and availability on weekends. OLCC permit and Food Handlers Card are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year in restaurant or customer service
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Interest in fine dining and elevated beverages
• OLCC Service Permit and Food Handlers Card required

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Servers, Bartenders, Expo and Managers to keep the restaurant running smoothly
• Deliver a high level of hospitality and caring to guests
• Maintain a clean and elegant dining room by clearing, breaking down, and resetting tables
• Assist with serving and delivering dishes to guests with efficiency
• Stock stations with glassware, cutlery and dishes
• Monitor service areas in bar, living room, and dining room
• Serve In Room Dining orders and perform IRD dish collections
• Complete side work, cleaning and restocking as required
• Learn menus and deepen knowledge of culinary and beverage offerings
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards
