Job summary

Acme Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Busser to support our upscale dining experiences across California. In this role you will clear and reset tables, assist servers, and maintain a spotless dining area to ensure guest enjoyment.

You will work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen, follow health and safety standards, and uphold presentation and service quality in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Busser or Server Assistant in fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and service standards.
• Excellent communication with staff and guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry trays.
• Attention to detail for table setups.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Professional appearance and dress code adherence.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Current Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Clear tables promptly and remove used dishes and utensils.
• Reset tables with clean linens, cutlery, glassware and condiments.
• Assist in delivering food and beverages to tables.
• Pre-bus tables and keep dining area tidy.
• Provide exceptional customer service for guest requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area including sweeping and mopping.
• Restock napkins, straws and condiments at tables.
• Coordinate with waitstaff and kitchen for smooth service.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of tables and chairs for events.
• Ensure bussing stations are stocked and clean.
• Dispose of trash and recycling per guidelines.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Support other team members during events or other areas.
• Maintain positive professional attitude.
