Job summary

Hilton Milwaukee’s Chophouse is seeking a dedicated bartender to deliver a premier dining experience in an upscale, fine-dining atmosphere. You will set up and stock the bar, greet guests, take orders, mix drinks, and manage cash and POS transactions.

The role requires two+ years of fine-dining bartending, Friday/Saturday availability, extensive wine/spirits knowledge, and bartending plus TIPS certification. A government license as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of bartending or bar service in a fine dining setting.
• Available to work Fridays and Saturdays.
• Must hold a bartending certificate and TIPS certification.
• Proficient English for guest communication; good writing for requisitions and vouchers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock the bar daily, including beverages, garnishes and supplies.
• Greet guests, take drink orders, mix and present drinks.
• Maintain stock and garnishes; manage bar inventory and glassware.
• Handle cash transactions and process guest checks; use POS.
• Adhere to liquor regulations and assist with bar duties as needed.
