Job summary

Hotel Oceana Santa Monica in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a skilled Bartender for our new restaurant. You will craft cocktails, deliver exceptional beverage service to dine-in guests and room service, verify IDs, and balance cash while maintaining a spotless bar.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• ServSafe and Responsible Beverage Service certifications required.
• Minimum two years of bartending experience in a hospitality setting preferred.
• Knowledge of mixology and flavor pairings helpful.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays in a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages to guests and room service orders.
• Verify customer IDs and enforce age restrictions.
• Balance cash receipts and process payments.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization; wash glasses and utensils.
• Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate service.
