Job summary

The Dinex Group's Café Boulud in New York hires Bartenders to craft cocktails, manage the bar, and deliver guests a memorable dining experience in a fine-dining setting. This pooled-tip service role collaborates with management and front-of-house and back-of-house teams, requiring expert knowledge of spirits and a strong menu and wine list.

You will greet guests, design cocktails, maintain mise en place, manage inventory, ensure flawless service, and uphold strict sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fine dining environment.
• Knowledge of and interest in fine cuisine and wines.
• Outstanding knowledge of liquors and spirits.
• Actively practice food safety procedures.
• Able to take direction and complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
• Engage guests to create positive dining experiences
• Create cocktail list
• Prepare the mise en place for the bar
• Pour all drinks for bar guests and from printed tickets for servers
• Execute on-going side work
• Open and close the bar as needed
• Assist with inventory of all alcohol and beverages as needed
• Maintain the bar clean at all times
• Be knowledgeable of food items and wine list
