Qualifications

• Prior serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor with guests and staff.
• Strong written, reading, and verbal communication; able to take feedback well.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow basic restaurant floor plan, menus, and instructions.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems and make decisions in a dynamic restaurant setting.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during service.
• Be punctual to scheduled shifts and maintain reliability.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs; stand or walk up to 10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests with a friendly, welcoming demeanor and accurately takes orders.
• Serves patrons food and beverages.
• Communicates guests’ orders to chefs and bartenders and handles payments.
• Assists in setting tables and rearranging dining areas for larger groups or events.
• Delivers a memorable dining experience by addressing issues promptly and providing attentive service.
• Maintains table settings by replenishing utensils, water, and clearing courses.
