Job summary

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is seeking an Amuse Server to join the Food Services team. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a memorable dining experience in a contemporary fine dining environment.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work across shifts, including weekends. Working in Amuse Restaurant, you will collaborate with chefs and bartenders, handle payments, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for museum

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability including weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a welcoming demeanor and take accurate food/drink orders.
• Serve patrons and communicate orders to kitchen and bar staff.
• Collect payments and assist with setting tables for large groups or events.
• Maintain table settings, refill beverages, and check guest needs during meals.
• Resolve guest issues promptly to ensure a memorable dining experience.
