Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District is seeking a Teacher Assistant for the Fine Arts/Music Program to support instructional activities under the Building Principal. This paraprofessional role involves assisting teachers, organizing materials, and communicating with families.

The successful candidate will have at least 48 college hours (or a HS diploma plus district assessment) and an Educational Aide Certification, with fluency in English and ability to work with children in a classroom

• Minimum of 48 college hours or high school diploma/equivalent plus pass a District Assessment.
• Educational Aide Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the instructional program in Fine Arts/Music.
• Prepare and organize instructional materials and equipment.
• Assist in proper classroom management and implement daily schedule.
• Assist in record keeping and clerical duties.
• Assist teachers in the computer lab.
• Communicate with parents.
