Job summary

Pacer Group in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a GPP Developer / Implementation Specialist to serve as the on-site Subject Matter Expert for end-to-end payment hub implementations.

You will collaborate with customer infrastructure, application, and business teams to install, deploy, integrate, and go-live support across Dev, SIT, UAT, DR, and Production environments, leveraging IBM MQ, JMS, REST/SOAP APIs, and ISO 20022 standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Finastra GPP expertise across environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 20022 payment standards.
• Experience with IBM MQ, JMS, REST/SOAP APIs, Kafka, Oracle SQL, and Linux/Unix.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finastra GPP implementation lifecycle across environments.
• Design and implement system integrations using APIs, MQ/JMS, Kafka, SFTP, and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
• Configure core technical and security components for payment hub.
• Coordinate infrastructure and deployment with Linux, Oracle DB, middleware, networking, HA, DR.
• Execute production cutovers and provide L3 support during go-live.

Secondary (Good to Have):

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the program leadership within the financial technology department, this role serves as the on-site Subject Matter Expert to lead end-to-end implementation activities for payment hub solutions. The GPP Developer / Implementation Specialist will collaborate directly with customer infrastructure, application, and business teams to ensure seamless product installation, deployment, integration, and go-live support.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Finastra GPP implementation lifecycle | Managing installation, deployment, configuration, development, and upgrades across Dev, SIT, UAT, DR, and Production environments.
• Design and implement system integrations | Connecting upstream and downstream systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IBM MQ/JMS, Kafka, SFTP, and ISO 20022 messaging standards.
• Configure core technical and security components | Setting up the application, middleware, database, security layers, and payment processing configurations.
• Coordinate infrastructure and deployment activities | Working with infrastructure teams for Linux, Oracle Database, middleware, networking, load balancers, SSL, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery.
• Execute production cutovers and provide L3 support | Overseeing deployment cutovers, DR testing, failover validation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting production issues.
