Job summary

Vantage-Credit-Union is seeking a sales-focused professional to proactively meet branch and credit union goals while maximizing member wallet growth. You will assist members with accounts and loans, ensure accurate paperwork, and support the Member Care Center during peak periods.

The role requires independent thinking, strong knowledge of credit union operations, and the ability to adapt to regulatory changes. Collaboration across departments and maintaining confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in a credit union.
• Willingness to attend industry seminars/workshops/conventions as needed.
• Strong knowledge of credit union operations and products.
• Ability to keep current with industry trends and regulations.
• Demonstrates integrity and high moral responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Meet individual sales and production goals and contribute to branch and credit union goals.
• Assist members with account and loan needs and inquiries.
• Assist the Member Care Center during high call volume periods.
• Refer cross-sell opportunities as appropriate.
• Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Coordinate efforts with audit, retail operations, compliance, credit resolutions, centralized lending, and QA.
• Cultivate positive relationships across the credit union and with other departments.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
