We are hiring for our next Financial Systems Manager! This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial aspects of the Workday system. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, accounting knowledge, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of Workday's financial modules.

• Oversee the configuration, administration, and support of Workday Financial Management System including Financial Accounting, Suppliers, Banking, Business Assets, Projects, Customers & Contracts, and Adaptive Planning.
• Oversee the configuration, administration and support of Workday Payroll System including updating payroll calculations, adding new earnings & deduction codes, etc.
• Ensure the system is up-to-date with the latest features and functionality.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements as it relates to the Financial and payroll modules.
• Lead implementation of new features/modules within Workday.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data security and integrity.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial reports.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
• Create and build new financial reports.
• Perform internal audit procedures of Workday monthly
• Assist with audit requests as needed.
• Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and workflows within Workday.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement process improvements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for financial processes and procedures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
• Conduct training sessions for users to enhance their understanding of Workday Financial Management.
• Develop user guides and training materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• BS/BA in Accounting required.
• Experience in month-end close processes preferred.
• At least 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• At least 5 years of Workday Financial Management experience.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, financial processes and accounting principles.
• Experience in system administration preferred.
• Experience in month-end close processes.
• Working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial audit preparation, reporting).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrate effective written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences
• Proficiency in data analysis and financial reporting.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to troubleshoot and critically think through processes and issues
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
