Business Systems Architect (Workday) - Remote - up to $225k base salary

We're partnering with forward-thinking technology client, focused on bringing people together, that is seeking a Business Systems Architect to take ownership of their enterprise systems landscape—with a core focus on Workday Financials. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will be driving system design and strategy across Workday Financials, HCM, and Salesforce, while also managing a team of offshore developers and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Financials, leading architecture, configuration, and enhancement efforts.

• Oversee integration strategies between Workday Financials, HCM, and Salesforce.
• Lead and mentor a small offshore team of technical consultants and developers.
• Evaluate and recommend best practices for system governance, scalability, and performance.
• Own the systems roadmap, working closely with senior leadership to prioritize initiatives.

Ideal Background:

• 5+ years of Workday Financials experience, with deep functional and technical understanding.
• Some exposure to Workday HCM and Salesforce from a systems integration or architecture standpoint is a bonus.
• Experience in enterprise systems architecture, ideally within a fast-growing, matrixed organization.
• Proven track record managing offshore teams and delivering projects across global time zones.
• Strong analytical and communication skills—able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points For:

• Workday certifications (especially Financials or Integrations).
• Experience in the tech or SaaS industry.
• Familiarity with tools like Boomi, MuleSoft, or Workday Studio.
