Job Title: Integration System Architect – L11 Rack

Location(s): Remote (USA)

Compensation: $130,000 – $200,000

About this position:

We are seeking a technical expert to design and optimize rack solutions that support High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. In this role, you will lead the system architecture design for racks, integrating servers, network switches, storage, and power systems to deliver efficient, reliable, and scalable custom solutions. You will also contribute to improving thermal efficiency and energy utilization, advancing innovative technologies such as liquid cooling and high-density storage. This position is pivotal to product development, enhancing market competitiveness through performance improvements and cost reductions. If you have a deep understanding of server architecture and a passion for solving real-world challenges with cutting-edge technologies, this is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on system architecture, cooling solutions, and network configurations tailored to clients' full rack performance and application needs.
• Perform cluster/rack-level testing and deploy software at customer sites.
• Lead benchmarking and testing for cloud, storage, and AI/deep learning applications.
• Manage proof of concept (PoC) setups and troubleshoot network issues.
• Conduct AI application testing using frameworks such as MLPerf, LLM, and RAG.
• Execute functional, compatibility, performance, stress, and reliability testing.
• Identify and report hardware and software quality issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
• Analyze test data and logs and prepare comprehensive test reports.
• Contribute to the development of testing tools and automation of test scripts.
• Address internal and external quality issues, driving effective problem resolution.
• Collaborate with teams in Taiwan (HQ) during active project phases, participating in 2–3 night calls per week to ensure alignment and project progress.
• Maintain regular communication with Taiwan (HQ) outside of active project phases, attending 1–2 night calls per week for updates and coordination.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the relevant information technology industry.
• Proficient in system architecture, virtualization, operating systems, network architecture, and network device configuration.
• System or network-related certifications are preferred.
• Focused on system equipment (VMware/Windows/Linux) or network product maintenance, planning, and configuration (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, L4 devices), rather than software development or endpoint application installation.
• Preferred experience with mainstream AI/ML frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or ONNX.
• Experience in DevOps or cloud environments, with familiarity in Docker/containers and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience managing racks/clusters with workload or scheduling managers like Slurm.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
