Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst for a top banking and financial services client. This role focuses on Oracle EPM Cloud, EPBCS, and Smart View, acting as a bridge between Finance and Technology to ensure accurate financial data for budgeting and forecasting.

Candidates will manage data loads, reconciliations, and reporting, support planning cycles, troubleshoot issues, and document controls, while driving process improvements in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years supporting financial systems, FP&A processes, accounting systems, reporting platforms, or BI tools.
• Hands-on Oracle EPM Cloud experience (EPBCS/PBCS).
• Experience with Oracle Smart View reporting, ad hoc analysis, data retrieval, and data submission.
• Experience with Essbase, financial metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, and business rules.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Master's degree or MBA; CPA, CMA, Oracle EPM Certification, or related certifications.
• Banking, financial services, FP&A, or highly regulated industry experience.
• Oracle EDM, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting experience.
• EPM Automate, Data Management, and Data Integrations experience.
• Power BI and SQL experience.
• Automation tool experience.
• Data warehouse platform experience.
• SOX controls, audit support, and governance experience.
• Process improvement and financial systems documentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Support administration, optimization, and ongoing operation of Oracle EPM Cloud (EPBCS/PBCS).
• Serve as a liaison between Finance and Technology teams to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
• Manage financial data loads and reconciliations; enhance Smart View reporting; support planning cycles; troubleshoot system issues; maintain controls and documentation; drive process improvements across financial systems.
