About the Role: The Financial Support Specialist is essential to the growth and sustainability of Tech Time Cincinnati. In this role, you will be the driving force behind securing the funding and resources necessary to keep our tech programs accessible to the community. This position is perfect for an organized, persuasive communicator who is passionate about nonprofit development, grant writing, and building strong relationships with local businesses.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Actively research, draft, and apply for local, state, and national grants to fund our educational programs.
  • Reach out to community businesses and corporate partners to secure financial contributions and in‑kind donations.
  • Coordinate and plan the logistics for the pick‑up and drop‑off of donated technology and other essential program items.
  • Design, launch, and manage engaging fundraising campaigns.
  • Collaborate directly with the Project Manager to plan and execute community and fundraising events.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Must be familiar with non‑profit funding process.
  • Must currently reside in Cincinnati. If you have lived outside the state of Ohio within the past seven years, your application may be delayed or rejected due to background check limitations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong math, writing, research, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • CPR certification is a plus, though we do provide refresher training for our team.

Schedule and Commitment:

  • Mandatory training begins May 22, 2026.
  • The core summer programs operate from June 3 to August 7, 2026.
  • Summer hours run Monday through Thursday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with select free Fridays. Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate volunteer needs.
  • Your official start date will depend on the successful completion of onboarding, training, and background check verification.
